Les Mureaux, Frankreich
A city with a mostly Muslim population, with a very bad reputation. When a President of France wants to talk about violence or problems in the suburbs, he will go there. But there are also projects for the city led by Christians with a vision for the city.Neighbours / Nachbarn: 100+ nations, lots from Africa and North Africa
Team: One woman has a flat with 3 rooms, one for hier and 2 for roomates/MoveIn volonters. We are looking for girls.
Aubervilliers – 4 Chemins
A mix of a lot of nations and language. North africans very present. Asians too. One of the poorest city in FranceNeighbours / Nachbarn: Algerian, Bangladesh, Afghan, African, Asians, French (110 + nations)
Team: One male looking for team mates
Magdeburg – Kannenstieg
We love it so much to live in Kannenstieg. It´s quite calm here. Right in front of our balcony there is a playing ground were a lot of children use to play. Some big fields, a lake with beach and IKEA is nearby 🙂
Although it is so peaceful here, sometimes it´s deceptive - there a lot of fights in broken families and relationships.
Vaters Haus - a penticostal church - is right in the middle of the patch (with a youth group, a kindergarten, Royal Rangers, ...).
Team: two brothers, looking for more team mates
Halle (Saale) – Silberhöhe
Halle (Saale), Deutschland
The Silberhöhe (engl. "Silver height", named after the legend of a hidden silver treasure) is a communist style concrete block housing patch in the south of Halle. With the collapse of the communist system the population went down from 39,000 to around 12,000 inhabitants. Those left are often old-age pensioners or unemployed people. Most new people that come to the patch are migrants. In most cases neither the locals nor the newcomers have any Christian background.Neighbours / Nachbarn: Germans and migrants from Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa and the Middle East
Team: One couple, looking for more team mates
Halle (Saale) – Heide-Nord
Halle (Saale), Deutschland
With about 5,000 inhabitants it is Halle's smallest block housing district. It is quite far of the city center and thus often seems to be forgotten by the city administration, the economy (no jobs, few shops...) and even the church.Neighbours / Nachbarn: mostly Germans
We love our neighbourhood because of the cultural diversity, lots of green space outside and a really strong presence and support of social workers. It is surrounded by Gardens on most sides which makes it very peaceful! With only 15 minutes by bike to the city centre, we still feel connected to the hustle and bustle of Berlin.Neighbours / Nachbarn: Turkish, Middle East, Eastern Europe, German, African
Team: 1 guys apartment, 1 girls apartment
Our neighbourhood is a colourful mix of people from different backgrounds and has a history of social justice in the area. Local community activists have a range of exciting projects they are working to get off the ground, which as a team we are looking to get involved in. These projects aim to create a stronger sense of community which once so defined the area... (not finished). If that doesn't get you excited then maybe food will, because: who doesn't like food? There are six grocery stores (one open 24/7) within a 5 minute radius of our home, as well as a daily local market with a great fresh fish stall. Nearby are the beautiful Burgess and Southwark Parks...Neighbours / Nachbarn: South Asian, European, African, London Cockney/English

Hamburg – Wilhelmsburg (Reiherstiegviertel)
Wilhelmsburg is colourful and a mix of many (young) people from all over the world. It is a district of strong contrasts: Wonderful parks and nature next to the industry of the harbor, very poor living close to wealthy people, strongly secularized German people meet religious Muslims, at least 6 mosques compared to little Christian impact. It is a privilege for us living here. We enjoy the diversity, international flair, the proximity to Hamburg center, parks, the river elbe, etc.
We are absolutely confident, God has a special plan for Wilhelmsburg.
At the moment our ministry is focused on “Reiherstiegviertel”-quarter. We are involved in social projects, kids and youth and adult ministry and church planting.Neighbours / Nachbarn: Turkish, German, Middle East, Eastern Europe, African

Public transport connects the quarter quickly with Frankfurt downtown while it is also possible to enjoy the nature close-by. The residents in this quarter are socially mixed and multicultural.Neighbours / Nachbarn:

We have been `moved in`for 4 years and chose o become a part of the lives of our neighbours, learning about and accepting all of our differences. One of the hardest things is the poverty here. How can we possibly respond to all the need?Neighbours / Nachbarn: marginalized families

Marzahn – Hohensaatener Straße
Situated in former Eastern Berlin, Marzahn is known as one of the most churchless parts of the city. More believers are desperately needed.
