join us in Albania for MEG’23!

29 September – 02 October, 2023 | Durrës, Albania

Join alongside MoveIn teams from across Europe for a weekend of prayer, worship, teaching and fellowship at our annual MoveIn Europe Gathering (MEG)! Each year, MEG is designed to help you grow in your love for Jesus and your neighbours, and to build connection with the wider MoveIn movement. We pray you will be encouraged by this time together!

Our theme for the weekend is “Poured Out” and we look forward to reflecting on how Jesus pours out His life and love for us and how we are called to imitate Him in pouring out our lives for others, and specifically the unreached, urban poor.

Nigel Paul

Nigel Paul grew up in Zambia, Pakistan and Kenya and studied Internet Business at the University of Waterloo. In January 2009, God gave Nigel the name “MoveIn” and the vision “to see thousands of regular people moving in among the unreached, urban poor.” Today, Nigel directs the MoveIn Vision Team, is part of a regular MoveIn team which is planting a church, speaks into various small businesses, and lives with his wife Jessie and two sons, Courage(5) and Christian(3), in a patch in east Toronto.

Bible Teacher

Our inductive Bible study leader this year comes from a MoveIn patch in Southeast Asia. She lives there with her husband, three children, and Indonesian teammates. Together, they run an afterschool program for neighborhood children and lead discovery Bible studies. They also seek to mobilize more believers to move in among the poor and unreached.

Prince C. Mazie

Prince Mazie has been a missionary serving in the Balkans for almost 16 years; 4 years in Kosovo and 12 in Albania. He is a Church planter and is passionate about pastoring and discipleship. He is married to Caroline and they have a 15 year old son.

Fred is an ordinary man who is fully surrendered to an extraordinary God. He is the planter and the lead pastor at Mountain View Church in Fresno, CA and serves with his wife Esther who is the pastor of prayer. His passion is to live in the presence of God and see the gospel proclaimed throughout the world-locally, nationally and globally,  among the unreached and least reached.  His heart is for the lost to come to salvation and live a Holy Spirit empowered life full of miracles, signs and wonders that point people to God.

Sajmir Brazhdi

Sajmir lives in Albania with his wife Irma and their 3 year old son. Sajmir went to police school and then studied theology where God called him into full time ministry. Pëllumb Ranxha

Greetings to all! My name is Pëllumb Ranxha and the Lord has given me the privilege to serve Him and the church through the Albanian Bible Institute in Durrës. The ministry includes Leadership training, seminars, preaching and very importantly providing needed Christian literature for church leaders and the whole Church. I look forward to a blessed time together. You can learn about our ministry at www.ibsh.al

Her heart is to help men and women see who they are through God’s eyes. She has a passion to nurture and develop the next generation of leaders. She speaks from her own story of abuse and through the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, so that others may experience the truth and freedom that God has for them.

Esther Leonard

Esther is passionate about Churches becoming ‘Houses of Prayer for all the nations’. Jesus taught us that prayer is learned by doing and only an act of our wills is required. Corporate prayer and personal prayer are like 2 wings of an eagle. Both are needed to fully grow as members of the body of Christ. For the past 25 years, Esther has been actively leading corporate prayer at Mountain View Church and within her city.

Selah Worship Team

Selah Worship Arts Ministry was founded by Arben (Beni) and Irma Xhako. Born and raised in the strict communist era, they saw Albania opened to democracy in 1991 and the first missionaries able to enter and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Initially they worked planting churches, but in 2011 they felt a call to help their nation find their worshiping voice and raise up generations of worship for the future. Beni and Irma are joined in ministry by their children Samuel and Sibora as well as Ted Bukowski. The Selah Worship team has led worship at churches and events across Europe and internationally.
